Role Responsibilities

As Tax Director, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional client service, leading a talented tax team, and contributing to the strategic success of the firm. Your responsibilities will include:

• Oversee the delivery of tax advisory and compliance services to a varied client base, including HNWIs, SMEs, and large corporates
• Develop and implement the firm’s tax strategy, aligning it with broader business goals
• Act as a key advisor to clients, providing guidance on complex tax matters such as corporate restructuring, inheritance tax, international tax, and R&D claims
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a proactive approach to meeting their needs
• Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the firm’s growth by building a network of professional contacts
• Ensure compliance with the latest tax legislation and regulations, advising clients on changes and their implications
• Represent the firm at client meetings, networking events, and professional forums

Candidate Requirements

We’re looking for a dynamic and results-driven tax expert with proven experience in delivering high-quality advisory services. The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualifications: CTA, ACA, or equivalent qualification
• Experience: Significant experience in tax advisory at a senior level, preferably within a practice environment
• Leadership: Strong track record of managing teams and driving business growth
• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of UK tax legislation, with experience in complex tax planning
• Skills: Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Commercial Awareness: Ability to identify opportunities for new services and growth
