This is a fantastic opportunity for a tax professional looking to join a practice that are undergoing a modernisation and restructure.

Role Overview:

As the Tax Manager / Director, you will play a pivotal role within the firm, managing a portfolio of both personal and corporate tax clients, while providing strategic tax advice. You will work closely with partners and other departments to deliver exceptional service and support the firm’s continued growth. This is an ideal role for someone with proven tax experience in an accountancy practice, looking for career progression in a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee a varied portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients.
• Prepare and review complex tax computations and returns.
• Provide tax planning and advisory services for clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the key point of contact.
• Work closely with partners to develop and implement tax strategies for clients.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest tax regulations and ensure compliance.
• Support and mentor junior team members.

• Qualified CTA/ACA/ACCA with practicing certificate.
• Significant experience in tax compliance and advisory, ideally within an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK tax regulations.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize workload in a busy practice environment.
• A proactive, team-focused approach.
