The Tax Manager will play a pivotal role in the Tax leadership of a leading company in the Energy and Natural Resources industry, based in London. You will be responsible for managing all tax-related activities within the organisation.

Description

  • Advising on the tax impact of capital investment for project evaluation, including new plant investments, district heating and carbon capture.
  • Supporting the Treasury team to monitor issues such as the tax deductibility of interest, the after-tax impact of hedging instruments and the management of group relief.
  • Ownership of the tax compliance process for the group.
  • Ownership of the tax advisor and HMRC relationships.
  • Managing the Corporate tax compliance process from data gathering to final submission. Ensuring the appropriate processes and internal controls are implemented and maintained to support the SAO certification requirements.

Profile

A successful Tax Manager should have:

  • ACA / CTA or Qualified by Experience
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of tax law and statutory regulations.
  • Proficiency in tax reporting and strategic tax planning.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Job Offer
