As Tax Manager, you’ll be…

• managing complex VAT returns

Role Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit complex VAT returns and handle partial exemption calculations
• Oversee international VAT documentation and registrations
• Provide technical VAT support to the Audit team
• Liaise directly with HMRC and clients, managing queries and issues
• Develop and grow the firm’s VAT service offering, attracting new clients
• Provide assistance in marketing strategies related to VAT services
• Manage the VAT registration process and ensure compliance
• Work closely with the Tax Partner and support other teams as needed

Candidate Requirements

• Fully qualified AAT or ATT, with significant experience across the VAT/Indirect tax discipline
• Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex VAT concepts to various audiences
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic accounting packages
• Able to manage deadlines and remain organised in a fast-paced environment
• A proactive and confident problem-solver with strong interpersonal skills
