Tax Manager - Alexander Lloyd : Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join a dynamic team for a large, global organisation based in Central London. This role is newly created and ideal for candidates who have gained their ACA and/or CTA qualifications within an accountancy practice and have since moved into an industry role. Candidates who have qualified ACCA within industry will also be considered.

You will be responsible for overseeing the UK tax function, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and managing tax-related processes within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee UK tax compliance, including corporate tax, VAT, and employment taxes.
• Prepare and review tax returns, computations, and disclosures for statutory accounts.
• Work closely with finance teams to ensure accurate reporting of tax figures.
• Provide strategic tax planning advice to optimize tax efficiency and mitigate risks.
• Stay updated on UK tax legislation and ensure the company complies with all regulatory changes.
• Liaise with external tax advisors and HMRC as necessary.
• Support business projects by providing tax advice on transactions, structuring, and risk management.
• Lead tax audits and respond to tax authority queries as required.

Key Requirements:

• ACA and/or CTA qualified (ACCA will be considered).
• Proven experience in a UK tax role within an industry setting.
• Extensive knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations.
• CbCR experience is essential
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply complex tax legislation.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to advise and collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
