We have an exemplary and rare opportunity for a skilled personal tax specialist to join this successful, entrepreneurial team based at their practice in Forest Row near East Grinstead.You will be covering a varied portfolio of personal tax matters for clients, including compliance work and tax planning. The role will also include providing clients with support for a range of taxes including income, capital gains and inheritance tax requirements, and assisting with planning for, and administration of, Trusts and Estates.Key Duties include:
- Managing an interesting and diverse portfolio of clients
- Preparation of complex self-assessment and partnership tax returns
- Reviewing tax returns prepared by other members of the team
- Dealing with preparation and review of Trust and Estate accounts and associated tax returns
- Preparation of 60-day CGT returns
- Reviewing clients’ circumstances and providing assistance with tax planning.
- Dealing with potential new client enquiries and helping to grow the client base
The successful applicant:
- CTA qualified candidates will be preferred, however practical experience is most important and candidates with other tax or accounting qualifications as well as those qualified by experience should apply.
- Experienced tax managers and tax seniors who are looking to take the next step should apply.
