Tax Manager - TPF Recruitment : Job Details

TPF Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established multi-office chartered accountancy practice firm based in their Eastbourne office. They are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their expanding team. The successful candidate will be ACA , ACCA , ATT or CTA qualified, or qualified by experience. This is a tax, ideal for an experienced Tax Manager looking to join a growing team with exceptional exposure on offer and genuine career prospects. 

As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for;

• Take responsibility for portfolio of approx. 260 tax clients – individuals, sole traders, partners and directors
• Maintain regular client contact on a pro-active basis, listen to needs, suggest initiatives and improvements.
• Dealing with correspondence, reminders, checking of tax codlings and payment on account calculations and meeting client deadlines.
• Preparation and submission of personal and partnership tax returns including computations.
• Preparation of P11ds, dealing with Tax Credits, Rental Accounts and Income and Expenditure Accounts.
• Tax Planning.
• CGT Returns
• Calculating WIP provisions for internal reporting and billing.
• Acquire and apply technical expertise in accounting, tax and interpret laws, regulations and standards to a mixed portfolio of clients.
• Assisting Directors, Managers and other team members as required with ad hoc tax queries.
• Dealing with new client enquiries.
• Technical tax research for clients.

· 

• You will be ACA, ACCA, ATT OR CTA qualified. 
• You will have experience within a practice.
• Experience of cloud software such as Iris, Xero, Sage or QuickBooks

• £40,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
