Our client, a close-knit team, is seeking a Tax Semi Senior to support their work with individual clients, sole traders, and private landlords. This is an excellent temporary opportunity to join a practice-focused role within a collaborative team environment.

• Prepare and manage personal tax returns with accuracy, using the Iris personal tax module.
• Manage a portfolio of 50 personal tax returns, ensuring high-quality work within deadlines.
• Work specifically with sole traders, private landlords, pensioners, and individuals with investment income.
• Provide detailed experience with equalisations and handle simple accounts using RS Accounts Production.

• Iris Personal Tax Module
• Excel and Word for reporting and documentation

• Proven experience working within a tax practice, specifically in personal tax.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with tax equalisations.
• Familiarity with RS Accounts Production and standard Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience handling state pensions, rental properties, and investment income, with no international tax experience needed.

• Independent and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple clients.
• A strong team player who is comfortable working within a dedicated team.
• Efficient with spreadsheet and documentation tools, able to manage and document client records precisely.

• Competitive hourly rate with potential extension into the New Year.
