Job Purpose
- Manage your own client portfolio, advising clients on their day-to-day compliance requirements
- Preparation of complex tax returns
- Preparation and reviewing of tax advisory work
- Analyse information and communicate tax implications clearly to support Senior Managers
- Liaise with third parties to collate tax return information
- Oversee junior staff by reviewing work and offering support to manage deadlines
- Ensure HMRC compliance with relevant statutory requirements
- Research regularly to interpret changes in tax laws and regulations
- Nurture meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues alike
- Work closely with senior management team to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met
- Champion your own professional development by undertaking progression opportunities where possible

Job Requirements
- CTA / ATT qualified, currently studying or with the desire to begin studying
- At least 2 years’ experience in a personal tax role within practice
- Excellent communicator, both on paper and in person
- Strong interpersonal skills
- An enthusiastic learner who can grasp technical concepts
- Well organised and confident in managing own workload autonomously
- Good at working under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, professional and reliable
- A hands-on, can-do attitude towards meeting deadlines
- Personable, proactive and passionate about building relationships
- Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel etc
- An enthusiasm to progress within the firm, undertaking opportunities for further learning
