Job Purpose
- Support a varied portfolio of clients, providing excellent taxation advisory and planning services
- Oversee corporate tax reviews for audit clients, ensuring compliance at every step
- Support Partners with corporate tax restructuring and due diligence
- Assist with the preparation of research and development tax credit claims
- Deal with ad-hoc queries across the wider firm when required
- Identify tax advisory and planning opportunities
- Liaise with third parties to collate tax return information
- Ensure HMRC compliance with relevant statutory requirements
- Research regularly to interpret changes in tax laws and regulations
- Nurture meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues alike
- Mentor junior staff, reviewing work and delivering training to aid their development
- Champion your own professional development by undertaking progression opportunities where possible

Job Requirements
- ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified, part-qualified or with the desire to begin studying
- Qualified by experience also considered
- Corporate tax and business tax compliance experience
- A proven track record of managing a portfolio within practice
- Solid tax advisory knowledge
- Highly personable and an excellent communicator, both on paper and in person
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage own workload autonomously
- Good at working under pressure to meet deadlines and targets
- Self-motivated, professional and reliable
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel etc
- An enthusiasm to progress within the firm, undertaking continuous professional development
