• Managing a portfolio of personal and trust tax clients, including high-net-worth individuals and more complex cases
• Reviewing self-assessment tax returns and compliance work prepared by junior colleagues
• Providing clients with proactive and strategic tax advice, tailored to their personal financial situations
• Assisting with the day-to-day management of the personal tax team, ensuring efficiency and quality control
• Supporting and mentoring less experienced team members, offering guidance and technical training
• Researching and preparing private client and employment tax advice
• Collaborating with senior leadership and other departments to enhance client service delivery
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the tax team

• CTA qualified or qualified by experience
• At least four years of post-qualification experience in Personal Tax
• Strong technical knowledge of personal tax compliance and advisory work
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
• Strong time management and organisational skills, ensuring deadlines are met efficiently
• Commercially minded, with the ability to identify advisory opportunities for clients
• Experience in mentoring, supervising, and developing junior team members
• Exposure to tax advisory work (desirable but not essential)
• Knowledge of other tax areas (beneficial but not required)
