Rate: £180 - £250

We have an urgent requirement for a Teacher of Science. In this dynamic role, you will teach students across Key Stages 3 & 4, with the possibility of extending to KS5. If you have a strong foundation in science and are excited about shaping the future of young learners, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging science lessons that cover a wide range of topics across various scientific disciplines.
• Use diverse teaching strategies to ensure deep understanding and active participation.
• Lead exciting laboratory experiments and practical demonstrations that bring science concepts to life.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment by using effective classroom management techniques.
• Provide constructive feedback to support their academic development.

What We’re Looking For:

• A team player with the ability to collaborate effectively within the Science department.
• Qualified teachers (including ECTs and experienced QTS professionals)
• Proven experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and 4 (KS5 experience is a plus).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex scientific concepts in an engaging and accessible way.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• A registered teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS/QTLS) for secondary education.
• Enhanced DBS disclosure (subject to checks).
• Knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
