Job Description :

Academics are currently supporting an academy located in Stoke-on-Trent who are now looking for a qualified Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (Spanish).

This position will be full-time (5 days) and will be on a long term basis. For the right candidate the role does have the strong possibility of becoming a permanent teaching post and can commence sooner prior to January 2025.

This particular school has a vibrant and exciting learning environment and is located in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent.

Spanish Teacher's that apply for this opportunity will have:

  • The relevant Spanish and/or Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) qualification(s): PGCE, B. Ed, or BA Hons, with UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS/QTLS).
  • Confident communication and motivation skills in the classroom.
  • Have strong behaviour management with excellent subject knowledge (teach to both KS3 & KS4).
  • Be able to adapt quickly within the academy and to be a good team player with staff.
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service or to be prepared to apply for a new Enhanced DBS with ourselves (cost applied).

Please be aware that your rate will be dependent upon experience, prior qualifications, and the client rate that is available. For longer-term assignments you will be paid according to your teacher pay grade.
