Looking for a fulfilling opportunity in East London? A secondary school in Hackney is currently seeking a experienced Learning Support Assistant to join the team from September for the academic year(July 2025) and possibly longer.

Role: Learning Support Assistant

Type: Full time, long-term

Salary: £85-95 per day

As a Learning Support Assistant at this school, you will be working across different year groups to assist students who require additional support with their learning, whether because of behaviour or because they need assistance to access the curriculum because of special needs. You will be working mainly in class, alongside the student and on a 1:1 basis on occasions too.

Located in a vibrant area of Hackney, the school is well served by public transport and also has limited parking available on a first come, first served basis(arrive early!). The school has been rated "Good" by OFSTED, demonstrating their commitment to high-quality education and a supportive learning environment for all pupils.

To join us and be successful in this Learning Support Asistant6 role you will need to:

• Ideally be a graduate or have previous experience of working with children or young people in a school with special needs
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
• Legal right to work in the UK
