Teaching Assistant requires to provide 1-2-1 support for a Key Stage 2 child with Social Emotional & Mental Health needs. You will join a supportive team of teaching assistants who are all committed to making this school a nurturing and welcoming environment for children who have faced barriers to education. This role requires experience as a teaching assistant, classroom assistant, or LSA.Job Role:
- Providing tailored support for a child with SEMH needs.
- Working closely with an experienced team of teaching assistants to provide the best possible support.
- Understanding a range of SEMH and Special Educational Needs.
- Supporting the child on a 1-2-1 basis, delivering intervention where required.
- Managing behaviours, helping the child to engage with lessons.
- Recording progress of the child and reporting to the SENCO.
