Empowering Learning are actively recruiting for one of our clients schools. The school is an Ofsted "Outstanding" Primary School situated in the heart of Aston, Birmingham. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the above school to start in September 2024. This is a full-time position, ideal for someone who is passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact on young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a helping hand in the classroom to the Teacher and pupils, to ensure high quality lessons.
  • Provide support to individual pupils and small groups to enhance their learning experience.
  • Help create a stimulating, inclusive and safe learning environment for learners.
  • Manage behaviour expectations in and outside of the classroom.
  • Participate in school activities and events, contributing to the school community.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to the school's ethos and values.
