Randstad is collaborating with exceptional schools in East Grinstead to recruit passionate individuals eager to enhance their skills and support student development. Our partner schools provide hands-on training and a welcoming team of experienced staff to help you succeed. In this term-time position, you'll work with students aged 4-11, playing a key role in their social, emotional, and academic growth. If you have experience working with children or a background in caregiving, becoming a teaching assistant could be your next career move.We have both supply and long-term opportunities available with immediate starts.

Your Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:

• Support learners individually or in small groups
• Serve as a positive role model in the classroom
• Assist the class teacher with resources and activities
• Build positive relationships with staff, learners, and their families
• Collaborate with other staff members
• Bring your best self to work every day

Requirements:

• A genuine passion for working with children and fostering a love of learning
• Grade C or above (or equivalent) in GCSE Maths and English
• Experience working with children or in childcare
• A positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Confidence and motivation to guide individuals or small groups
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Eligibility to work in the UK (No sponsorship provided)
