Location: Specialist School for Children Aged 4-16Focus: Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) NeedsAspire People is an education recruitment agency passionate about ensuring passionate educators are placed in the right schools that need their support. We are currently looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a specialist school that caters to children with SEMH needs, including neurodivergent students.As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and emotional development of students. Your responsibilities will include:* Providing one-on-one and/or general classroom support to students with SEMH and neurodivergent needs.* Create a safe, nurturing and positive environment for learning.* Implementing strategies to help manage behaviour and promote encouraging interactions.* Collaborating with other staff members to ensure a holistic approach to each child's development.Key Requirements:* Passion for supporting children with special needs.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.* Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Working Hours:Full-time, Monday to FridayIf you feel you are ready to inspire and support the next generation of learners, we want to hear from you!
