Position: Teaching Assistant

Pay Rate: £85-90 per day

Location: Frome

We are seeking experienced and full time Teaching Assistants for the local schools of Plymouth and the positions are starting from September.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment, empowering all students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Requirements:

• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Enhanced Child DBS on the update service.
• Relevant experience in UK schools.
• Ability to provide 2 professional references
• Should have strong communication and empathetic skills.
• Managing behaviour and supporting the class teacher

Responsibilities:

• Providing timely and relevant assistance in the classroom.
• Creating an engaging and positive environment.
• Look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare.
• Adapt teaching support according to student's needs.
• Watch, record and report the progress that students make.
• Safeguarding the children, engaging them in activities.
