SEN Teaching Assistant Needed - Year 3 - North London Primary School

A SEN Teaching Assistant is needed to provide 1:1 support for a child with Autism in a Year 3 class in a North London primary school. This role involves working closely with the student to help them access the curriculum and develop their social and emotional skills. Key Responsibilities for the SEN Teaching Assistant:

• Teaching assistant to provide 1:1 support to a child with Autism, helping them engage with classroom activities.
• Teaching assistant, to ssist the class teacher in adapting learning materials and lessons to meet the child's specific needs.
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies to ensure a calm and positive learning environment.
• Support the student in developing their social, emotional, and communication skills, in line with their EHCP.
• Monitor and report on the child's progress, working closely with the teacher and SENCO to adjust support as needed.
