Your new job as a Teaching Assistant

This job will involve working in KS2 classes in a Primary School in Wakefield, supporting the teacher with whole class activities and small group interventions. This may involve 1:1 work with various SEN children within the class, including supporting them and other children in more group/class-based work.

What you'll need to succeed as a Teaching Assistant

• Previous teaching assistant experience
• Previous SEN experience is desirable, either from a care setting or previous school work
• A strong and confident approach with the ability to tackle challenging situations.
• Ability to communicate effectively
