AS A TEACHING ASSISTANT YOU WILL:

• Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to provide tailored assistance.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
• Assist with administrative tasks and preparation of teaching materials.
• Encourage and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

THE RIGHT TEACHING ASSISTANT WILL HAVE:

• The ability to build good relationships with children and colleagues.
• Commitment to equal opportunities.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team but also to use your own initiative.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Patience, a positive outlook and a great sense of humour.
• Excellent communication skills, including high levels of spoken and written Standard English.

THE SUCCESSFUL TEACHING ASSISTANT WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable but not essential. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
• A minimum of GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent). Additional relevant qualifications are a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, patience, and a genuine interest in education.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Salary paid to scale - £90-£100 per day Fringe pay, depending on experience.
