Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant ready to make a difference in the lives of young children?A friendly and supportive CofE primary school on the outskirts of Preston is seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their team for the Spring Term, starting in January.   • You will be responsible for providing high-quality support to children in the EYFS setting, working with a range of ages and developmental stages.
  • You will implement age-appropriate activities and learning experiences, promoting the children's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
  • You will have a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and be able to plan and deliver engaging and stimulating activities.
  • You will be committed to the well-being of each child, fostering a safe, secure, and nurturing environment.
  • You will work collaboratively with other staff members, ensuring consistency and high standards of care.
  • You will be adaptable and flexible, able to work effectively with a range of children's needs.

Essential Criteria:

  • Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education and Care or equivalent
  • Experience of working with children in an EYFS setting
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for early years education and a commitment to providing high-quality care

Details:

  • Full-time position
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45 am - 3:15 pm
  • Start date: January 2024
