Tradewind Recruitment is thrilled to partner with an Ofsted-rated "Outstanding" primary school in Sutton. They are currently seeking an enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support students in KS1 or KS2.

This popular two-form entry mainstream school is dedicated to nurturing and supporting children of mixed abilities, including those with communication and interaction challenges, as well as cognitive difficulties.

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide tailored support to an autistic pupil in KS1 or KS2.
• Plan and deliver intervention sessions for SEN groups.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Work in alignment with pupils' EHCP targets.
• Monitor and report on pupils' progress.

To excel in this role, you should have:

• Proven experience as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant.
• A solid understanding of supporting children with autism.
• The ability to pass an Enhanced DBS Disclosure and provide overseas police clearances (if applicable) and professional references.
• A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history (with explanations for any gaps).
• The legal right to work in the UK.
