About the Role:We are seeking an experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team at a vibrant secondary school in Ealing. The successful candidate will support students with Special Educational Needs, specifically those with ASD and ADHD, helping them to thrive academically and socially within a mainstream school environment.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with ASD and ADHD, helping them access the curriculum effectively.
- Support the classroom teacher in delivering lessons tailored to the needs of students with additional learning requirements.
- Assist with behavioural management and emotional support to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Work closely with SENCOs and other staff to implement and monitor individual education plans (IEPs) and personalised learning strategies.
- Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents to ensure the well-being and academic success of all learners.
Essential Qualifications and Experience: - Previous experience working with students with ASD and ADHD in an educational setting, ideally within secondary schools.
- A good understanding of SEN (Special Educational Needs) and behaviour management strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals.
