Teaching Assistant - Primary School in Bristol

Are you a graduate looking to gain classroom experience in preparation for teacher training?

A primary school in Bristol is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. This full-time, one-year contract (8:30 AM - 4:00 PM) focuses on supporting a KS2 class, with an emphasis on Numeracy and Literacy.

The Role:

• Support small groups and individual students in Numeracy and Literacy
• Assist the class teacher with classroom activities
• Encourage active student participation and engagement
• Help create engaging learning materials
• Provide general classroom support and monitor progress
• Foster students' social and emotional development

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous Teaching Assistant Experience
• Graduate with a 2:1 or above
• Experience working with children is desirable but not essential
• Passion for supporting children's learning and development
• Strong communication skills and creativity
• Located in Bristol or willing to relocate
