Are you passionate about education and ready to make a difference in the lives of young learners? We are seeking a dedicated and confident Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic secondary school in Camden on a full-time basis starting January 2025.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal development of secondary school students. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing targeted support to students in all subjects, up to GCSE level.
• Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Supporting students one-on-one or in small groups to enhance their understanding and confidence, including working with children with Special Educational Needs.
• Helping to manage classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Collaborating with teachers and staff to support individual student needs.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Confidence in supporting English, Maths and Science to GCSE Level, with strong subject knowledge.
• Experience working with secondary school aged children in any capacity, such as education, youth work or sports coaching (preferred).
• Hold a degree qualification - the following subjects are desirable: maths, English, science, geography, history, PE
• A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate students.
• A genuine passion for education and helping young people achieve their potential.
