Exciting Permanent Opportunity for a Teaching Assistant in Key Stage 2 (Year 3). Pangbourne.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a lovely Primary School - situated in Pangbourne, who are seeking a skilled and experienced Teaching AssistantTeaching Assistant(TA) to join their team from February half term on a permanent basis.

This is a permanent position for two roles within the school (Teaching Assistant). The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive, adaptable approach and a passion for supporting children's learning and wellbeing.

Position Details

Start Date: Monday, 24th February 2025Application Closing Date: Monday, 3rd February 2025

Teaching Assistant:

• Qualified Teaching Assistant - Pangbourne: 35 hours
• Working Days: Monday to Friday (term time only)
• Curriculum Area: Key Stage 2, supporting a Year 3 class
• Location: Pangbourne

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Teaching AssistantTeaching Assistantqualification (preferred)
• Skills: Strong English and Maths skills (GCSE grade C/4)
• Experience: Previous experience as a Teaching AssistantTeaching Assistantis essential for the higher level SEN children.
• Creativity: Ability to contribute innovative ideas to the classroom
• Behaviour Management: Proven skills in managing behaviour effectively
• Flexibility: Prepared to cover the class in the teacher's absence and support other areas in emergencies
• Checks: Full DBS clearance and a UK National Insurance number
• Location:Able to commute to Pangbourne
