Teaching Assistant Key Details

• Position: Teaching Assistant
• Location: Manchester area
• Pay: £85-£105 per day (adjusted accordingly for hours working)
• Hours: Minimum of 6.5 hours per day, working hours are usually between 8am and 4pm- you will be informed of exact hours for each shift)
• Duration: Daily and short-term cover

Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant

• Provide general classroom support to teachers, assisting with lesson delivery and activities.
• Work with small groups or on a 1:1 basis to support children's learning and development.
• Support pupils with SEND or additional needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning.
• Adapt to new school environments and effectively build relationships with staff and pupils.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere in the classroom.

What We're Looking For in our Teaching Assistants:

• Hardworking, reliable, and flexible individuals passionate about education.
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role (paid or voluntary).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and adaptable attitude to fit into various school settings.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
