Primary Teaching Assistant & PE Specialist - Greenwich - April 2025 Start

A primary school in Greenwich is seeking a Teaching Assistant with a specialism in Dance and Gymnastics to support Lower Key Stage 2 (LKS2) students while also delivering engaging PE sessions. This is a full-time role starting after Easter 2025, running until the end of the academic year, with the potential to continue into September 2025 and become permanent based on performance.

Teaching Assistant - Role Overview:

• Provide general TA support in LKS2 classrooms, assisting with lessons and small group activities.
• Lead Dance and Gymnastics sessions during school hours, promoting physical development and confidence.
• Work closely with teachers and the PE coordinator to create engaging lesson plans.
• Encourage teamwork, creativity, and skill development in students.

Teaching Assistant - Candidate Requirements:

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
• A background in Dance and/or Gymnastics, with experience teaching children.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage young learners.
