About the Role

Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with a secondary school in Hammersmith & Fulham that is seeking day-to-day Teaching Assistants to provide additional classroom support. This flexible, ad-hoc position allows you to work around your availability-ideal for gaining hands-on experience in education. This exciting position will be available for a September 2025 start until the end of the academic year for the right applicant.

Key Responsibilities

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:? Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) through one-to-one and small group interventions.? Assist teachers in managing the classroom, monitoring progress, and providing feedback.? Act as a role model, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.

About the School

• Large mixed secondary school (Ages 12-18)
• Easily accessible via public transport
• Outstanding behaviour standards
• Experienced SEN department with strong leadership

Role Details

• Pay: £90-£100 per day
• Hours: 7:50 AM - 4:20 PM
• Location: Hammersmith & Fulham, West London

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Be available to work full-time, five days per week.
• Hold or be in the process of completing a degree.
• Commit to at least two terms.
• Have an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, with Overseas Police Clearance if applicable.
• Provide professional references and a CV covering the last ten years of employment history (where possible).
• Have the legal right to work in the UK.
