PP Associates are recruiting on behalf of a primary school based in Crosby

The school are seeking a qualified teaching assistant to support a year 2 child

About the role

As part of the team, you will be responsible for helping to create a safe, educational environment.

You will provide vital support for a child in year 2, helping them thrive in a supportive and structured environment.

You will liaise with the teacher, utilising strategies to support the pupil in achieving learning and behaviour goals, as well as helping with daily admin duties,

You will take part in learning activities and differentiate tasks for the pupil you support to ensure the best outcome for the child.

You will need to be aware of, and comply with school policies and procedures relating to child protection, health safety security confidentiality and data protection.

You will need to hold a recognised teaching assistant qualification (Level 2 or above)

You will need to have experience working 1:1 with children in key stage 1-preferably year 2.

Experience of supporting children with SEN would be beneficial.

You will need to hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be happy to undertake the processing of one for this role.
