Teaching Assistant - Mainstream

Bolton, BL2

Salary: £85 - £95 per day

Age group: KS1

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm

Start date: Immediate

Value Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at an Outstanding Primary School in the Bolton area.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and be committed to helping each child in the most effective way depending on the individual needs.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Class Teacher in preparing lesson materials
• Maintaining a tidy and safe classroom environment
• Supporting group activities
• Providing 1:1 and group assistance to students

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children
• Teaching Assistant level 2 qualification is beneficial but not essential
• Effective communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism
• Passion for innovative and engaging teaching methods
• Able commute to Bolton
