About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an integral part in supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional growth. You will work closely with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student can succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students to enhance their learning.
  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation, classroom activities, and adapting materials to suit student needs.
  • Support students with additional learning requirements, including SEND, to help them achieve their potential.
  • Promote positive behavior and help maintain a focused and respectful classroom atmosphere.
  • Foster students’ independence, confidence, and engagement in their learning.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and school leaders to track and report on student progress.

  • Passionate about working with young people and helping them reach their goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
  • A proactive team player who thrives in a busy and rewarding school environment.
  • Previous experience in an educational or youth-support role is desirable but not essential—your enthusiasm, empathy, and willingness to learn are key!
