About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team in the Medway area. This is a long-term to permanent role for the right candidate. You will be working across Key Stages 1 and 2, providing one-to-one support for children with challenging behaviour and additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one support to children with challenging behaviour and additional needs.
• Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Support the class teacher in managing classroom behaviour.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and record student progress.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a similar environment.
• Availability to start immediately.
• A clear enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children with additional needs.
