1-1 Teaching Assistant - Part Time Recruiting for Teaching Assistant who has experience working with special needs. To support a KS1 student on a 1-1 basis with ASD and a low level of communication. Romford area

Would suit someone looking for part time school hours who has a passion to make a positive difference to a SEN childs education.

Start - As soon as possible - Monday to Wednesday 8.30am - 3.15, 3 days a week term time only

For this part time 1-1 Teaching Assistant Role:

• An understanding of Makaton or PECS would be an advantage
• Supporting the student through clear and consistent instruction.
• Working calmly and effectively and adapt to learning plans appropriately.
• Building the social/ emotional skills of student whilst promoting trust and confidence.
• Working alongside the teacher to integrate the student as a member of their learning environment.
• To have good communication and organisational skills, patient with a positive attitude.

To Ideally have:

• A relevant TA Level 2/3 and/or care qualification

Successful candidates have access to training courses and support to continue their CPD.
