SEMH Teaching Assistant - Preston - ASAP start
Prospero Teaching are looking for a Teaching Assistant with SEMH experience to work in a specialist SEMH/autism provision in Preston. This position is for an immediate start and will run for the remainder of the academic year until July 2025. This is a full-time position.
This position will be ideal for anyone with experience supporting people with SEMH/EBD experience who is looking to gain some more experience in an educational setting.
You will be working with small groups or perhaps on a 121-basis working with pupils. As well as an experienced teaching assistant, this role could suit a person who has worked in a capacity involving rehabilitation, EG prison officer, counselllor.

Experience, Training and qualifications:
* Experience working with young people with SEMH/challengin behaviours
* GCSE English and Maths grade C or '4' & above
* Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided)
* Up to date Prevent training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however training can be provided)
* Up to date behaviour management & FGM training (essential, however training can be provided)
To be eligible you must have/be:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide a minimum of two references covering the last 2 years
