We are currently supporting a network of specialist schools committed to providing exceptional education and support to children with a wide range of SEND. Job Description:As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with their learning, social development, and daily activities. Working closely with teachers and other professionals, you will provide individualised support, assist with classroom management, and help create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEND
• Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies
• Support students during lessons, helping to reinforce learning objectives and provide additional guidance when needed
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• Promote inclusion and diversity within the school community
• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children with SEND is desirable but not essential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a difference
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) is advantageous
