The RoleAs a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the students, both in and out of the classroom. You will work closely with teaching staff to provide high-quality care and assistance tailored to each student's needs. This includes:

• Assisting with educational activities and ensuring an inclusive learning environment.
• Providing personal care, where necessary, and supporting life skills development.
• Encouraging independence and supporting students in achieving their individual goals.
• Helping with therapeutic interventions and activities, both on and off-site.
• Building positive relationships with students, fostering trust and confidence.
• Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including teachers, therapists, and health professionals.

Requirements

• A caring and proactive attitude with the ability to build strong relationships with students.
• Experience working with young people or adults with special educational needs is desirable, but not essential - training will be provided.
• Flexibility and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to engage in personal care duties when required.
