Teach Plus are currently working with a Mainstream primary school who are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team. This school values and takes pride in pastoral care and relationships with parents. They facilitate an encouraging and respectful community where children and adults learn and achieve together.
This continues to be a good school where the focus is on ensuring that they create a calm and positive atmosphere where pupils have a positive attitude towards their learning. Leaders have effective systems in place for ensuring that pupils attend the school on a regular basis. Staff are positive about the support they receive from leaders with their workload and well-being.
For this Teaching Assistant role will be expected to support pupils with SEN and ensure that they are supported to develop to their full potential. You will need to supervise and provide support and assistance to individuals and groups of pupils, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities. You will need to be able to use appropriate strategies and approaches to support and assist pupils to achieve their learning goals.
