Level 2 Teaching Assistant (Trafford)

This full-time position starts immediately and runs through to the end of the academic year, with the possibility of an extension based on your performance.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Collaborating with the teacher to deliver creative and engaging lessons in alignment with the KS2 National Curriculum.
• Providing targeted support to pupils, including small-group interventions and one-on-one assistance, to ensure individual progress.
• Monitoring and recording pupil performance, helping to identify learning gaps, and assisting with strategies to bridge them.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assisting with the preparation of resources and activities, contributing to the school's creative curriculum.
• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to support student well-being and academic achievement.

Essential Requirements:

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification or higher.
• Excellent references to support previous experience in KS2 (ideally in a Year 6 class).
• A CV that covers employment history with any CV gaps explained.
• The right to work in the UK.
