About the Role: SMART EDUCATION is currently seeking Teaching Assistants (TAs) and Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to support secondary schools in Walsall. These positions involve providing additional classroom support, ensuring that every student can achieve their best.

Key Details:

  • Start Date: January 2025 (potential for earlier start depending on availability).

  • Duration: Initially temporary, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

  • Location: A well-known, respected Walsall secondary school.

  • Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm.

  • Salary: £85.23 - £95.21 per day.

Your Role as a Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide in-class support to ensure lessons run smoothly.

  • Offer tailored 1-to-1 support to a male student managing anxiety and engagement challenges.

  • Collaborate with teachers to deliver the National Curriculum effectively.

  • Help nurture a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A minimum of 6 months’ experience working in a secondary school or similar setting.

  • Proven ability to support students with additional needs.
