In this role you will be working in the Apprenticeships and Scientific Development Team, supporting them with a number of activities associated with the talent development lifecycle. You will be responsible for delivering an efficient and accurate administration service, helping to ensure that our people are kept informed, motivated, and excited about our evolving business.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Providing admin support for the Apprenticeships and Scientific Development Team
- Act as first reference point of contact for all Scientific Development enquiries
- Ownership of departmental mailboxes ensuring emails are responded to in a timely manner and escalated where appropriate
- Working independently on Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and digital platforms
- Ensure that effective team administrative processes are developed, improved, and maintained
- Maintaining Talent Tracker with starters/ leavers/ movers and generating monthly and quarterly activity report
- Supporting Apprenticeship programme/T-Level administration - apprenticeship travel and accommodation bookings, adding new starters/ leavers to the Digital Account Service (DAS) in the absence of the Apprenticeship Coordinator
- Maintaining Laboratory Accreditation Database
- Undertake the preparation and circulation of programme materials and collateral for related training purposes
- Managing the administration for 'Grow our Own’ Initiatives such as the Graduate Training Programme and the Quarterly Application process
- Manage the Scientific Development, Apprenticeship and external training calendars
- Manage the compliance and reporting requirements
- Organising Training Networking meetings
- Booking rooms, updating posters and comms for Roadshows, Career Clinics and other internal/ external events
- Update and maintain Scientific Development Synfo pages (intranet)
- Support Apprenticeships and Scientific Development communication channels
- Collate article and produce monthly newsletter (Canva)
- Organising by-monthly Training Lead Meetings including creating the agenda/ and taking minutes
- Regular attendance at daily/weekly update meetings
- To ensure that all Apprenticeships and Scientific Development records are maintained
- Liaising with Training Managers/ Coordinators across the SYNLAB UK & I group
- Getting involved with ad-hoc projects
- Contribute to the central HR team, its objectives and strategy
