Job DescriptionAllocations Team Leader - Leighton BuzzardConnells Survey & Valuation Ltd is a Chartered Surveying and panel management company that offers a national service to clients. Our main role is to provide mortgage valuation and survey reports on residential properties in the United Kingdom and support to our lender clients, the banks and building societies, who provide the public with mortgages.The Team Leader has day to day supervision of the team, ensuring procedures are implemented and adhered to, quality work is produced and any training needs are addressed, performance targets are set and met and cases are progressed in line with required service levels. The Team Leader should provide regular feedback on staff, performance statistics and recruitment needs to the Line Manager and ultimately the Field Operations Director. The Team Leader is expected to lead by example and actively deal with all staff related issues as and when they arise, along with carrying out staff appraisals and review meetings.The Allocations Team is responsible for the first part of our customer’s journey, the placement of work received from lenders, having reference to lender’s guidance on times frames and fair distribution of work with firms on their panel to give an unbiased valuation. The Allocation Team will firstly look at availability in house and aim to place that work within Connells by assessing workload and availability. This involves liaising closely with Field Area Directors and Divisional Directors to effectively meet the lenders criteria.You will be responsible for:

You should have:
  • Previous experience of leading a team.
  • Previous office experience
  • Worked in a busy environment that is structured with guidelines, rules and regulations.
  • Previous experience of working to deadlines.
  • Good IT skills with an understanding of Microsoft office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi task and actively use a variety of IT systems and resources.
  • Accurate, with a good attention to detail.
  • Works extremely well under. Organised, focused and goal driven.
