Team Leader - Creative Support Ltd : Job Details

Creative Support is a national, fast growing not-for-profit organisation providing support to individuals with a wide range of care needs. We are currently looking to add a Team Leader to our service in Bradford, West Yorkshire.

We are looking for an energetic, passionate and organised Team Leader to support the Registered Manager with providing excellent person-centred care to service users living at our supported accommodation service in Bradford, West Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will be providing support to the individuals who live here with a range of support needs, primarily mental health support needs, including Autism and learning disabilities as a secondary diagnosis.

Team Leader Duties:

• To enable the service users to increase their independence, experience improved wellbeing, and enjoy opportunities for personal development
• To develop and co-ordinate a flexible, high quality service for adults with a mental health needs, a learning disability and autism
• To lead and manage staff so as to ensure that the highest levels of performance and standards of work are achieved
• To ensure that service users are enabled to become as independent as possible and to grow in confidence, competence and personal effectiveness.
• Senior staff will be required to participate in an on-call rota for which appropriate payments will be made.

Relevant experience of supporting individuals with a learning disability is essential, as is experience of staff supervision, recruitment and management. Shift patterns vary between 8am-4pm, 10am-6pm and 2pm-10pm.

The service has great public transport links and a bus stop right outside, with regular routes to the local bus station. There is also off street parking nearby.
