About the RoleAs a Locality Team Manager, you will lead a passionate and committed team of Social Workers and Family Support Workers in delivering essential early help services. Your role will involve a combination of strategic leadership, operational management, and hands-on support to ensure that our services meet the highest standards of quality and effectiveness. Key responsibilities will include:

• Assessing, Planning, and Delivering Services: You will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and families, developing tailored support plans, and overseeing the delivery of services that are responsive to those needs.
• Quality Assurance and Performance Management: You will play a vital role in assuring the quality of practice within the team, managing performance effectively, and ensuring that our services provide value for money. Regular monitoring and evaluation of service delivery will be essential to identify areas for improvement.
• Partnership Development: Collaborating with a range of partners, you will develop and coordinate effective partnership working within the service, ensuring a holistic approach to support for children and families. Building strong relationships with other agencies will be key to delivering seamless services.
• Service Development and Improvement: You will take a key role in the planning and implementation of local service developments and improvements, driving innovation and best practice to enhance the services we provide. Your strategic vision will help shape the future direction of children's services in Buckinghamshire.

About YouWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual with extensive relevant experience and expert knowledge in Children's Services. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Experience in Leadership: Proven experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams and partnership working, with a strong understanding of the challenges faced in a statutory children's social work setting.
• Supervisory Skills: A background in supervising and managing staff, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop team members to achieve their potential.
• Planning and Project Management: Excellent planning, workload, and project management skills, with a proven ability to manage change effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Recognised Qualification: A recognised social work qualification and current Social Work England registration are essential.
