Job Description :

Southdown’s Work & Wellbeing Service in West Sussex helps people accessing treatment for mental health support, back into employment. You will be line managing a team of Employment Specialists and working in partnership with Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust to successfully deliver the service against KPIs.

Role Summary:

You will manage an employment team, who are each managing a caseload of clients. The clients are in structured treatment for varied mental health issues. You and your team will deliver the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model; providing person-centred guidance to clients and staff members, whilst building positive relationships with Sussex Partnership & Foundation Trust to ensure the service is operating smoothly. You will work closely with the Service Manager to ensure that the team are being appropriately supported and achieving their set targets.

You will need exceptional communication skills, be reactive to the differing needs of clients and staff members and be able to adapt your approach as appropriate. This is a rewarding role, with employment and leadership playing an important part in the path to recovery.
