Tech Lead - Full Stack Engineer - ESG360 : Job Details

Salary: Up to £90,000 pa depending on experience.

Java Development Skills:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient backend servicesusing Java, Spring, Hibernate and related technologies.
• Architect and implement enterprise-grade APIs and backend services that supportour SaaS platform.
• Define database structure and compose SQL queries.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and security.
• Utilize GitHub for version control
• Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)pipelines to streamline development processes.
• React or relevant full stack experience is a strong plus.
• AWS and container experience is a plus.

Team Skills:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, product managers and sustainability expert team to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Quick learner and ability to understand complex business cases with minimum hand holding.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and restrospectives.

Communication and Client Interaction:

• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex technical concepts to team members and stakeholders.
• Participate in client calls together with our business experts to understand to provide technical expertise and help deliver customized solutions that meet client requests.

Qualifications:

• At least 10+ years of experience as a Java Backend Developer, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
• Expertise in Web development, with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, data structures and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively to develop innovative solutions.
• Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills, with a proactive and positive approach to challenges.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience of working in a start-up highly desired.
