Technical and Contract Review Engineer
Monday - Friday: 8.00AM - 4.00PM
£30,000 - £35,000 per annum
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Technical and Contract Review Engineer to join our well-established client based in Kingswinford on a full-time permanent basis.

Day to Day Duties

- Technical Documentation Review: Analyze customer drawings, specifications, and technical requirements to ensure compliance with company capabilities and standards.
- Contract Analysis: Review contracts and customer orders for accuracy, identifying any discrepancies or areas requiring clarification.
- Liaison: Act as a bridge between customers, the engineering team, and production to clarify technical requirements and resolve issues.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure all contracts and technical documents align with industry regulations (e.g., ISO standards) and company quality standards.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks in fulfilling contract requirements and propose mitigation strategies.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain detailed records of all technical and contract reviews, including revisions and communications.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of technical and contract review workflows.
Essential Skills

- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of engineering drawings, materials, and manufacturing processes, particularly in fasteners or related industries.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy in reviewing technical documents and contracts.
- Communication Skills: Clear and professional written and verbal communication to liaise with internal teams and external clients.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple contracts and reviews simultaneously.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying issues and providing effective solutions.
- IT Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/MRP systems.
Desirable Experience

- Experience in the fastener manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
- Familiarity with contract law and terms.
- Experience using CAD software for basic technical drawing reviews.
- Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.
