Technical Buyer – Doncaster – Competitive Salary + CIPS Study SupportElevation Recruitment Group are proud to be partnering with a highly successful manufacturer in Doncaster who are looking for a Technical Buyer to join their team. As a Technical Buyer, you will collaborate closely with the Engineering department and take full responsibility for procuring all mechanical and electrical components.Benefits:• 25 days holiday + bank holidays• CIPS study support• Death in service (3 x salary)• PensionTechnical Buyer Duties:• Source components with a strong focus on quality and cost• Oversee supplier performance by tracking and reporting KPIs, addressing non-conformance issues and driving continuous improvement in the supply chain• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to enhance cost efficiency, quality and supply reliability• Assist Engineering and Technical teams by procuring essential components for ongoing projects• Expedite deliveries to minimise disruptions in production and maintenance• Monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal stock availability while ensuring efficient storage management• Collaborate with internal teams to forecast inventory needs and ensure supply continuity• Conduct routine stock audits to verify inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies• Process and inspect incoming shipments, maintaining precise inventory recordsHours: Full time Monday – FridayRequired skills & experience:• Experience in purchasing electrical / mechanical components• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills• Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levelsIf you would like to discuss this Technical Buyer role in more detail, then do get in touch with Lewis at Elevation Recruitment Group now!
